pH Activity curve of recombinant β-FFase. Enzyme solutions were incubated at 37°C for 10 min in McIlvaine buffer with different pHs (3.16, 3.74, 4.30, 5.00, 5.65, 5.91, 6.34, 6.79, 7.26, 7.75, 8.18 or 8.59). The reaction was stopped by adding 900 μl of 150 mM NaOH, and then, relative activities were measured. Relative activities indicated closed squares.
